Dahlia Fields Forever

I love living in Nashville, but there is something about taking a drive out into the country that just makes me breathe a little deeper. My shoulders start to relax and I realize how you can really absorb the energy of a city. Sometimes that can be really vibrant and exciting but sometimes it can just make you a little anxious without you even realizing it! It’s times like that that a little field trip out to the country can do wonders! So I was thrilled to go visit Natchez Glen House a few weeks back with my girl Natalie.

Natchez Glen is about ten minutes outside Franklin, TN and has over five thousand dahlias growing, as well as beautiful rose gardens and exotic trees from all over the world. It is absolutely stunning and is an amazing experience. You can make a reservation to go see the dahlias and for $50 you get a tour AND get to fill a bucket full of flowers to take home!

Steve , the owner and farmer is so knowledgable and will show you around and answer any questions you have. This is really a very unique experience and such a peaceful relaxing place.
