Thrift Store Score: Black Maxi Dress

 I go thrifting a lot. This is pretty much common knowledge. I love vintage, I love to hunt and I LOVE a steal. So this outfit checks all the buttons for me!

I was visiting my boyfriend Rick's family in GA and his sister Kati is an avid thrifter. She actually owns an amazing shop Pimpernel Vintage you MUST check out her beautiful vintage pieces. I love her funky bright colored retro style. It's so fun.

So she took me to the Salvation Army on 99 cent day. Yup, you heard me right. All the reg tagged items were literally under a dollar. This black dress was the first thing (and definitely the BEST thing) I spotted and at first glance I was like ok this is a great piece, I'll sell it at the shop. 

But when I got home and put it on I was like NOPE! This baby is staying with me. It's so breezy and comfy and fits amazing.  I paired it with another steal: a belt I found at the Goodwill for about 50 cents.  (It's 99 cents a lb so I'm estimating but either way DIRT CHEAP!) I threw on some booties from Forever 21 and bam. A super cute springtime outfit for the price of a fancy happy hour meal. Love love love.
